Art City Istanbul, art-fair

Art City Istanbul, Turkey's and the region's premier modern and contemporary art fair, will take place on October 7th - 12th, 2008.
More than 70 galleries from all over the world will show paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs and digital art by more than 200 international artists at the Antrepos No 3 & 5, Tophane, Istanbul.

With the partnership of Art Galleries Association, dDf, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and idf International design fairs, the Art City Istanbul 08 project will be implemented to life. Art Istanbul, forms the main module at the exhibition where local and foreign art galleries will take place.

Within the content of Art City, other categories of the exhibition are; current art disciplines such as like digital arts, art manufacture, pr firms and corporates, conference and seminers that will eventuate within the content of art, and will host standing artists of young generation.

The Opening Reception of "Port Art Gallery", Gocek’s first contemporary art & design gallery, took place on May 16th, 2003.

Port Art Gallery was the first and only contemporary art gallery of Göcek opened in 2003. Only a 0.5 hour drive from Fethiye on the way to Dalaman Airport, it presented a pleasant alternative for all visitors to our region. It was located in Port Göcek Marina, right next to Cafe Port. As of 2005, it is no longer in service.
